I am an Egyptian currently living in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Aside from my mother tongue, Arabic, I am also fluent in Spanish and English.

I have over eleven years of experience working as an interpreter and translator. This includes my work as the first sworn legal translator from Spanish to Arabic and Arabic to Spanish for the UAE Ministry of Justice.

In 2004, I graduated from Cairo University with a Bachelors degree from the Faculty of Arts Spanish Department. My focus was in Spanish political, economic and commerical translation. I also took several language courses at the Cervantes Institute in Cairo from 2001 to 2003. After graduating from university, I began working for the travel agency and in 2008, I earned my diploma degree in Tourist Guidance in Cairo.

I also worked in Tourism Operation Management. In this position, I served as an English, Spanish and Arabic Translator, Interpreter and Tour Guide. I translated official letters and legal contracts; interpreted buisness meetings, negotiations and tele-conferences; and promoted the travel services to various niche markets, such as those in Spain & Latin America.

In 2011, I moved to Abu Dhabi to work for the Embassy of Mexico in the United Arab Emirates. As the senior English, Spanish and Arabic translator and interpreter in the Commercial & Political Department, I oversaw all Spanish, Arabic and English translations in the Embassy, as well as the Embassy’s press section. In 2016, I had the honor of accompanying the President of the United Mexican States as his personal interpreter during his state visit to the UAE. My position required me to have a thorough understanding of the UAE Government Offices, especially the ministry of Foreign affairs, and of commerical and trade practices in the UAE.

Since January 2017, I have worked as a certified legal translator for Langpros Legal Translations in Dubai. My services include legal translations and interpretations in Spanish and Arabic. I can legalize all my translations using the stamp provided to me by the UAE Ministry of Justice. My translations are accepted by all UAE institutions including the Ministry of Justice and Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Once my translations are attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs they can be submitted to all consulates and embassies of countries where Spanish is the official language.
